A Note From Amber: 

- The Fugazi vineyard, this is the first time since we started making it in 2008, was a no show this year with very small fruit set aka nothing worth picking and what was there was spoiled with mould

Fortunately, the Wait family who planted this beautiful vineyard in the nineteen forties, managed to spare some incredible grenache for me. Planted just up the hill from Fugazi, it was perfect and had no powdery at all

Happily, this has born a new labels, ‘out of my head’ grenache, probably for this year only

Named after a song by ‘exploding white mice‘, an Adelaide punk band from the 80s that taras and I use to listen to a lot and who he use to play gigs with, in his punk band Kranktus

We hope you enjoy it. I’m also proud to say that nearly all of the wines are now almost completely packaged using local companies and the winery is solar powered, and rainwater/spring water fed.
