94 Points James Suckling, 26 Jul, 2019 – "This has such supple, delicate, pillowy, lemons and white peaches. Really flowing and succulent. Super fine and fresh, lemon and pastry notes at the long, fresh and dry finish. Wow! Drink now."
93/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com - "The 2011 Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs OG Grand Cru is an impressive wine for a number of reasons, most importantly the sheer depth Vergnon was able to coax out of his vines in 2011. A Champagne of real texture and weight, the 2011 speaks with notable gravitas. Lemon confit, white flowers, chalk, white pepper and mint all add shades of nuance, but more than anything else, the 2011 stands out for its volume and breadth. The blend is 80% Mesnil and 10% each Oger and Avize, all from old vines that clearly had a lot to give in 2011. "

"Disgorged in May 2017, the 2011 Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru O.G offers up pretty aromas of yellow citrus fruit, white flowers and crushed stones, followed by a medium to full-bodied, tight-knit and direct palate with a bracing spine of acidity and a bone-dry, chalky finish. To my palate, it's a little austere, but it may unwind with further aging on cork. Drink Date 2018 - 2028.
This five-hectare estate in Mesnil-sur-Oger farms largely organically and harvests late, but the wines are fermented in steel with blocked malolactic fermentation and see minimal dosage, so they are reliably steely, tensile and intensely mineral—even austere, in the case of some of the cuvées reviewed here."
