THE "CLIMAT" - "La Crée" refers to a stony slope, a stony plot of land and serves as a reminder of a former quarry. Situated to the east of the village of Rully, the "La Crée" Climat was disassociated from the "La Pucelle" Climat, which is classed as a Premier Cru.
TERROIR -
Very stony clay-limestone terroir situated below the Premier Cru "La
Pucelle". The Climat consists of 5 subplots of varying ages and orientations.
Vine Care: The form that this Climat takes results in varying pruning methods and
specific harvest dates for each subplot.
TASTING -
Appearance : Nice pale gold robe, brilliant
Bouquet : Open and pleasant on toasted and buttey aromas
In the mouth : with a touch of liveyness, this wine is fat and rich with a nice
toasted bread on the finish. Nice complexity

Part of Domaine Belleville: A new Burgundy name to look out for
"Quite rich on the palate with a very clean flavour. Good weight. Some attractive spicy notes on both nose and palate – quite a lot of oak evident at the moment. Fresh and pure with interesting notes of agrumes on the palate. Just a little short on the finish but this is an elegant example of Rully. Drinking Window 2020 - 2023"
